Who We Are

First Church Miami  is a historic church with a fresh start that has gathered since Miami's founding. Alongside the city's flourishing, we have come to be motivated by the teachings of Jesus to do justice and love our neighbors. This has led First Church to be a site for integrated community organizing during the Civil Rights Movement, provide hot meals and showers to the unhoused for over  forty years, seek to reconcile and affirm Queer lives, and act as a beacon of community engagement through Corner Coffee and Fifth & Biscayne Micro Gallery.

Reverend  Audrey Warren, D.Min.
Senior Pastor

A dynamic preacher, Rev. Dr. Audrey leads First Church Miami from a divine call to share her deep love for scripture in both contemporary and traditional worship settings. As a global citizen, Pastor Audrey  has served in Central and South Florida, North Carolina, and South Africa. Dr. Warren has co-edited multiple books and published several articles. She is a dynamic teacher, public servant, and pastor.
Pastor Audrey is an ordained Elder in the Florida Conference of United Methodist Church. She holds a  Bachelor of Arts from Florida Southern College, a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, and a Doctorate of Ministry with a focus in Children’s Education from Wesley Theological Seminary.
